About Rev. Paul

My biblical foundation:

Nehemiah 2:17 “Ye see the distress that we are in, how the AME Church lies waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire; come, and let us build up the wall of AME Church, that we may no more be a reproach… And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work . . . the God of heaven, he will prosper us; therefore we his servants will arise and build . . .”

Family

Catherine Bupe

Catherine, a wonderful mother of four children. She graduated from Allen University with a BA in Social Science, changing her career midlife from Accounting to Social Sciences. She hopes this will help her in the Ministry to the widows, orphans, and other vulnerable children in Zambia.

Faith Bupe

Faith is a graduate of Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina in which she was crowned Miss Allen University. She is entering medical school and planning on pursuing a career in medicine. Faith loves the Lord and has a passion to help people and hopes that her career will help her reach out to many people. She loves singing, listening to gospel music and enjoys leading the youth choir at church.

Hope Bupe

Hope is also a graduate of Allen University where she was also crowned Miss Allen University during her senior year. She is entering law school and with plans of pursuing a career in law. She greatly enjoys serving others and taking leadership positions. Hope also enjoys volunteering, reading, playing tennis and listening to music. Just as God spoke before she was born that she would be a singer, Hope loves to sing and worship God through music. She desires to reach the heart of God through music.

Paul Bupe

Paul is currently studying Electrical Engineering at Georgia Souterhn University. He has been blessed with many talents ranging from music to electronics. Paul can play a multitude of instruments including Clarinet, Piano, Organ, Drumset, and various others. In addition to that, he is also very talented in the computer and electronics field, being adept at web design, graphic design, motion graphics, and a multitude of other skills. Paul enjoys playing soccer as well as other awesome sports such as Ultimate Frisbee.

David Bupe

David Bupe, the last of the siblings is a senior in high school. He has great interest in sciences and plans to pursue a career in the same field. David has beena part of the Math Team at his High School and has attended a number of programs including one at NASA. He is currently working on his two favorite sports, soccer and tennis.

Other

A local congregation that he established in Zambia voted to name itself after him while he was away in the USA for studies. Paul Bupe is deeply engraved in the annals of the A.M.E. Church history as a living legend. The congregation is located in Chililabombwe, Zambia in the 17th Episcopal District.
